Salt and Pepper – What you need to know about our newest brand, Pepper.

You’ve seen them online, they’ve gone viral. Launching their Kickstarter Campaign in 2017, Pepper, founded by Jaclyn Fu and Lia Winograd, had a goal of $10, 000 to create and manufacture a bra that would suit women with smaller cups in a variety of band sizes, so that these women would feel confident in the body they were born in. In just 10 hours Pepper had reached their goal and by the end of their 13 day campaign they had 950 backers.

Today, they want to create a “community of women banding together, celebrating each other, and conquering body stereotypes.,” This is their Small Squad. They’re passionate about achieving their goals and continuing to provide bras for women with small cup sizes.

Their current size range caters for women in sizes 10-16 AA-B, and they produce 3 bras.

Their original, All You Bra, is stocked in Little Intimates in sizes 10-14 AA-B and has a wonderful shallow molded cup with a wide shaped wire, perfect for petite women who don’t have the tennis ball shaped breasts most of the industry assumes we have.

For those women looking for something a little more lacy, they also now produce the Laidback Lace Bra, which is the same shape as their All You Bra except it has a lace band and a little bit of lace trim across the top of the cup. However this bra isn’t currently available at Little Intimates.

Their third bra is the Limitless Wirefree Bra. While this bra won’t be available until mid-April it’s shaping up to be another winner from Pepper. Featuring the same mesh overlay as the All You and Laidback Lace bras and the same elastic band as the All You Bra, Limitless has removable molded cups so it can be worn as either a soft bra or a bralette and comes in sizes XS, S, M, L, XL which unlike most brands which would correspond to sizes 8, 10, 12, 14 and 16 respectively, the Limitless bra’s sizes corresponds to sizes 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18 respectively.

Pepper is also very proud of their production methods. Pepper chose a factory located where Lia Winograd grew up in Medellin, Colombia, due to the quality of their manufacturing, their commitment to providing opportunities to women and where the employees are offered fair wages and benefits.

We think Pepper has quite the future ahead of them and we’re excited to be able to offer their products to the women of Australia.
